Children are very welcome to Parkhouse Dental Practice from a very early age. All our team members are very happy to see children of all our registered patients free of charge, covered by the NHS programme.
We understand their needs and perspective are very different to those of adult patients. We will ensure that they are very well looked after during their visit offering them much needed assurances and take away dental phobias.
It is important for children to visit us regularly where we can monitor their development closely and ensure that their teeth and gums remain healthy as they grow into adults.
We are registered Dentists, Hygienists and Nurses. We have an obligation to keep updated on current techniques, technologies and policies in Dentistry. We follow a plan of Continued Professional Development on an annual basis, which includes attendance at courses, meetings and reading journals.
Please telephone the Practice as early in the day as possible to make an appointment during opening hours. Should the patients of the Practice have a dental emergency outside of the Practice opening hours, please call 111.
A major advantage of white composite fillings is that they are less destructive to the tooth and are adhesive. When the dentist prepares a cavity, more of your own natural tooth material can be retained. They are much more aesthetically pleasing and can be worked and polished in a way that makes them look just like a natural tooth.
Whilst we are trained and equipped to handle many dental treatments, when we feel that a specialist would be better, we will discuss your needs and requirements and refer you accordingly.
